I was feeling very sad and introspective one day after dropping out of a film scoring job. It was a cool film that I wanted to do badly, but I just couldn't get a toehold on the main theme. Dropping out felt like a huge loss. I hope this piece captures some of that. Those of you that know me know I can't stay sad for very long, so the hardest part of this piece was maintaining that mood through the whole production.
